At Field Of View Photography, we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of any and all personal information we collect or you provide us.

This privacy policy explains how we handle and protect your personal information in accordance with commonly accepted privacy principles.

As needs change, we reserve the right to modify or amend this policy at any time and for any reason. Any material changes to this privacy policy will be posted on our website prior to their implementation. PHOTOGRAPHY 

We view the taking of photographic records on behalf of clubs and associations as an important activity that benefits both the club/association and all of it’s members. This enables the promotion of clubs and associations to produce membership growth and enabling them to provide a higher quality service to their club members and important fundraising revenue for the club/association.

Photographs and videos taken by us, of yourself or family members as a record of participation in a group or team or in attendance at one of our events, functions or games may be utilized for club/association organization purposes and activities, which include (but not by way of limitation) illustration, promotion, advertising and recording of the club/association activities and you or your child’s participation in such activities.

Such photographs may be published by the club/association or by us on behalf of the club/association, in any medium (for example website and social media) and may be labelled with the name of the person/s in the photograph and the event at which the photograph was taken.

If you have objections to the taking of your or your child’s photographs under this policy, then please email: admin@fieldofview.com.au and include your or your child’s full details and expressly state if you do not want Field of View Photography to contact you and also whether you do not want individual photos taken of you or your child.

If we receive such a request, then we will make all efforts to prevent further contact and the individual photography of you or your child. However, please note that you or your child may still be photographed incidentally in the background of functions, team/group photos and games, which is an unavoidable consequence of being a member of any club/association.

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

In the course of running photographic events on behalf of your club/association, we may ask for personally identifiable information that is relevant to providing you with our products and services.

Information collected can include:                                                             

• Photos and personal identification details within the photos

• Full name of the player/staff and/or parent/guardian’s

• The year and team (eg U12)

• The club/association the player/staff attends

• Postal and/or residential address

• Phone number

• Email address

• List of staff/volunteers/committee members names

• Other detail you provide us

 

We hold your information as follows:

• We retain a database of player/staff, customers, and parent and/or guardians which is maintained on the Field of View Photography database. Which is secure and only accessible by Field of View Photography staff.

 

We will collect hold, use, and disclose Personal Information for the primary purpose of:

• Fulfilling orders for the photos and other products placed by the customer and/or their club/association

• Completing order details on our online store

• Service and order enquires

• Product update and offers

• Providing sample products and marketing material

• Gathering information for use on products (such as your name on a team photo)

 

The quality of Personal information

• We only collect Personal Information which is provided to us by you.  You should ensure that all information you provide is accurate, up-to-date and complete.

WHO DO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH?

In the course of delivering products and services, we might provide personally identifiable information about you to organisations outside of Field of View Photography. Generally, these are organisations that help us with providing our products and services. These may include:

• Third-party Providers: We provide personally identifiable information to third parties (such as Australia Post and printers) for the purpose of providing products and services. This information is required for third-party providers to fulfil a request in the normal course of business.

• Legal obligations: We may be required, by law, to disclose information you provide us when you obtain products or services from Field of View Photography. We may also disclose information against someone who poses a threat to our interests (such as an act of fraud) or whose activities could cause harm to others.

• We do not disclose personal information to third parties for the purposes of marketing.
